Affordable Afterschool Care and Educational Opportunities for CNMI Families

Grace Christian Academy is pleased to participate in programs that help make quality education and afterschool care more accessible to families throughout the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands.

Through the Child Care and Development Fund (CCDF), eligible families may qualify for assistance with afterschool care services. In addition, educational grant opportunities may be available for qualifying students seeking full enrollment at Grace Christian Academy.

Our goal is to provide a safe, nurturing, and Christ-centered environment where students can grow academically, socially, and spiritually.

What is CCDF?

The Child Care and Development Fund (CCDF) is a federally funded program administered through the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. The program helps eligible working families access quality child care and supports educational and afterschool programs that promote student success. CCDF also encourages the development of high-quality learning environments for children and families.

Afterschool Care at Grace Christian Academy

Our afterschool program provides:

  • Supervised care in a safe and secure environment
  • Homework assistance and academic support
  • Educational enrichment activities
  • Recreation and supervised play
  • Character development and Christian values
  • Opportunities for social growth and positive peer interaction

Students remain in a structured environment where learning continues beyond the regular school day.

Educational Grant Opportunities

Families who qualify through CCDF may be eligible for assistance that helps offset educational expenses associated with enrollment at Grace Christian Academy.

Educational grant opportunities are subject to program requirements, funding availability, and eligibility guidelines established by the CNMI CCDF Program.

We encourage parents to contact us directly to discuss available options and determine eligibility.

Who May Qualify?

Eligibility is determined by the CNMI CCDF Program and may consider factors such as:

  • Household income
  • Employment status
  • Participation in education or training programs
  • Age of the child
  • Other program requirements established by CCDF administrators

Final eligibility determinations are made by the CNMI CCDF Program.
